The Cyprus Rugby Federation will be holding a series of beach rugby training sessions this summer.
When and where?
Saturday mornings starting Saturday 20 July, 08:00 – 09:30, running until the end of August.
Malindi Beach, Limassol (click here to find it on Google Maps).
Who can join?
These are men’s only training sessions, open to players aged 17 and above. The training sessions are in preparation for a Rugby Europe beach tournament at the end of August. All players who meet the eligibility requirements to play for the Cyprus national team are invited to join this training. We also welcome non-eligible players to come and train with us, although they will not be considered for participation in the tournament team.
What is beach rugby?
Beach rugby is a thrilling twist on the classic sport, taking the action from grass pitches to the soft sands of the beach. This fast-paced, five-a-side game retains the core elements of rugby – agility, teamwork, and strategic thinking – with a more relaxed and social vibe.
Beach rugby offers a unique opportunity to combine a fantastic workout with the undeniable pleasure of spending time at the beach.
No need to register – just turn up and train. See you there!
